Since the Governor of Nevada tested positive for COVID this week do you think he will be more likely to close down Las Vegas again if COVID cases continue to increase in the USA? Why or Why Not? What is your opinion? We want to hear from you (See other Readers’ opinions below.)

Nevada governor.

It would not surprise me if he shuts down the city again. Danny A. Las Vegas, NV

My opinion is we are no way near the end of this pandemic and more state shut downs and more restictions are headed our way. Just my opinion, dont shoot the messenger. Harold K. Phoenix AZ

With Nevada being a large collection of worldwide visitors it is likely to have more restrictions. Hopefully all the visitors and residents adhere to safety procedures.

Ideally the number of new cases starts to go down across the USA, but my fear is this is not going to happen until all people feel the seriousness of this pandemic. Barb L. Sacramento, CA

Probably will close down just like before. The fear of mass spreading and increased daily numbers of new cases of COVID is getting way out of control. Something has to give, so shut down looks more likely to me. At least major restrictions at the miniumum. Teri B. Dallas, TX

I think once the election is finalized this covid issue will be solved. Maybe the governor can wait a few more days before making any harsh rulings. Ann L. San Diego, CA

If it is anything like here in Florida, it should be closed down again. It surprises me how many idiots do not take this serious and then the number of new cases and deaths start skyrocking to new highs. Donna P. Orlando FL
