Believe it or not, I sat down this past weekend with a group of investors who thought they had an idea that everyone would enjoy, a covered Las Vegas Blvd. similar to Fremont Street Experience. Their concept was to close down from Tropicana to Palazzo casinos the Las Vegas Blvd., and remove the cars and let people roam the street. They would recover their money by operating street vendors. What is your opinion? We want to hear from you.. (See other Readers’ opinions below.)

las vegas proposed covered Blvd.

That is a great imagination and at first reading i thought it was crazy but the more i think about it the concept has merit. I think i like the idea. Gloria J.

It seem wierd but it could be fun. imaging strolling for blocks with thousands of people wondering throughtout the strip area. sounds like fun to me. Randy Pierce

Sorry, this idea would kill the casinos main entrance, taxis could not get around and it would be a mess. Dawn W. Fort Worth, TX

Not sure how practical that would be, but lets face it, Las Vegas has a lot of things that are not practical. Wayne G.

I guess that would be interesting, but dont think you could get it done. James Miller

Doesnt seem that easy to put together and then you might just go ahead and have it a\ir conditioned.... dream big. Susan Edwards CA

do it. I think it would be great. gary keller el reno, ok

No, bad idea. June Smith NYC

I think a covered Strip is a wonderful idea and should be seriously considered. I am a frequent visitor to the Las Vegas Strip from New Jersey and would love to be able to wander about the Strip without fear of being run over, or having to climb overhead walkways! Make it happen! Pat Berzanski Budd Lake, NJ
