Rumor has it Interstate 11 (I-11) is a proposed Interstate Highway, officially designated by the United States Congress in the 2012 Surface Transportation Act which is proposed to run from Casa Grande, Arizona, northwest to Buckeye, Arizona, then to Kingman, Arizona, and terminates in Las Vegas, Nevada will officially begin operations. A second proposed section extending north from Las Vegas to Reno is in the works. This would provide a direct Interstate link between the Las Vegas and Phoenix metropolitan areas.
