Question:

Bette Midler contract with Caesars Palace Casino will expire on January 31, 2010. Cher’s contract continues through 2010. This week’s Reader Poll asks the question, who do you think should replace the legend of legs, Bette Midler?  What is your opinion? We want to hear from you!

Seeing how good the Garth tickets sold out at the Wynn, maybe they should try to hire him.  Linda S

I think anyone that has talent would be great, but please do not put another Cirque show in Caesars, we are so tired of seeing the same company control all the major casinos, what ever happened to quality single performers rather than acrobats in different costumes.   Roger K.  Florida

Bette Midler would be a great replacement. Both of these ladies have beautiful voices. Even an old man of 72 still appreciates nice music with good delivery!   Don Turner  Brunswick, Maine

I agree with one of the previous posters, give me any type of quality show but no more cirque shows, I am tired of the acrobats.  Wayne L.

I think they should replace Midler with rotating talent.  I stay at Caesars and visit vegas about 4 or 5 times a year.  I hate seeing the same show, give me something different rather than premadonna's that tie up the showroom and we are stuck with them for years at a time.  I like Cher, Midler and even Celine, but years of the same show is boring!  B Sawyer

I would like to see a famous star rotate each month.  I like the idea of variety, not the same person year after year.   Dwayne Thomas

For my money bring on the old style las vegas show girls and a full production show that does not include water, acrobats or tigers.  What ever happened to raw talent without the same old props.  George Harper NY

Tina Turner...The real Legend of Legs!  Nick Ogle  Knoxville, TN

If I could see anyone, it would be Shania Twain.  Having her perform for a few months would be great, that way the scalpers couldnt take advantage of the show ticket buyer.  Leslie R  Florida

We don't come to Vegas to see the shows. They arn't worth the price they charge. Sometimes I've been so far away ,I'd be better off to see them on TV.We do come to Vegas a lot. But not for the shows. But some of the old 60's singers would be fun to see ,if they were at a good price.  steve   sedalia
