Question:

This week the Nevada Highway Patrol has again started to place offices in this big rigs to watch for aggressive drivers around these large vehicles. The troopers in the trucks and buses will call their fellow troopers and have them stop vehicles that perform unsafe motoring around these large vehicles. Troopers are especially looking for people who drive to close or cut in front of these large vehicles in an unsafe manner.  . . . Do you think it is a good or bad idea?   What is your opinion? We want to hear from you! ( See other readers opinions below.)

Reader Poll Replies:

I think this is a very trickly way for cops to write more tickets. John T  Florida

My opinion is they should also check the skill of some of these big vehicles because not all of them are excellent drivers either.  Ronnie Basha

My objection is to the way it is being done, not the fact that is should be managed.  Roger Vickers

Is not it called "entrapment"? and if you don't want to gave problems with cars and large vehicles.remove large vehicles from the strip, because some of them is a lot more aggressive then a car driver can or will be.  Polina Yerkhov  Reseda, CA

Geat idea. We travel 9 mo.'s in a r/v and Nevada, Arizona and California are the worst cities states for bad drivers around big rigs. They have no idea or don't give a damm about how much it takes to stop or change lanes with these big rigs and we are the ones who have to live with the guilt if we kill or badly injure someone.  Jim McRae  Phoenix AZ
