With the construction of the Fremont Street Experience in downtown Las Vegas in 1995, this $70 million dollar project continues to expand each year. Originally covering seven blocks of downtown Las Vegas, this has become one of the focal points of Las Vegas. This week’s Reader Poll asks the question . . . Have you ever visited Fremont Street Experience and if so what was your impression of this attraction?  concert held in the heart of the city or continue to hold the event at the Motor Speedway?  What is your opinion? We want to hear from you! (See other readers’ opinions below.)

Have visited the downtown attraction many times,   It is awesome. and it is free except for new years eve.  Dawn Brothers

It was a lot more than i expected.  The lights and the action was just like old las vegas.  well worth the time to visit.  Robert McIntyre  Miami FL

I have been there many times, but was not that impressed It did not have a personal touch. It needs more street vendors.   Don Wilkirson   Marietta,Ga

All the times I have been to Vegas, I have been downtown lots of times. But never at night. I want to see it at night. We always plan on seeing it at night. But when you are from a small town in the mid west, the strip is more than we can handle. We never really even see of of it   steve    sedalia,mo.

I love it the screen in the sky is the highlight of downtown, the shops are great and the casinos are a lot of fun. Everyone should get to Fremont Street one time while visiting Las Vegas.  Janet Baumann  Bolingbrook, IL

hands down better than the strip which is really like being in the desert cold and unfriendly.  byron  new york

Been so many times to Las Vegas I lost count. Use to visit Fremont Street before the revamp. Now I would not ever come to visit Las Vegas without visiting it. Great bars on the onw side. Great shows and music and always lots of fun!! I love The Fremont Street Experience!   Carl Caci   Louisville/Ky

We have been to Fremont Street many times and it is always fun. We enjoy the light show and the shops and looking in all of the hotels. The zip line is also a blast. The only thing that, I guess, is a negative is all of the people who dress up like movie people or singers and want money from you to take their picture. There seems to be alot of them.
Other than that it is one of the places that everyone who comes to Las Veagas should go and enjoy.  Chris Koch  Ashland, OH

It is awesome everytime I go there. When the light show is not going you will be entertained by the people there. The gambling there is good and there some different good places to eat.we stay there about 1 in 4 trips. But wether we stay there or not we always make it there once or twice each trip. Check it out.  Howard  Indianapolis, IN

Have I been to the Fremont St. Experience..... You betcha! Never come to Vegas without walking Fremont street. This is one of Vegas' best shows. And not to mention 'Free' We took our daughter and son in law a couple years back to witness this, and when the "KISS" show came on, I thought he would wet himself!  All in all, if you miss this experience, you have missed alot of Vegas. Oh, and ps... I Love the Insider!  Judy Johnson   Baudette, MN

The FSE is nothing short of freakin' amazing. Where else can you see a pulsating rock and digital media presentation that will blow your mind on a three or four-block long display with an fantastic sound system? I'll tell ya....Nowhere, but here. FSE is a must see attraction in Vegas!  Dave Mouldon   St. Louis, MO

When i visit Las Vegas, I stay at the 4 Queens. The Fremont Street Experience is just an added bonus. I enjoy the shows they put on as well as the live shows that they have. It is a great break from gambling.  Frank Munoz  Ontaro, Canada

We have been there several times. It is just awesome. Think it is one of the most unique things to see in vegas, Not many sight s like this are free.  Richard Porter  Taylorville Il

I visit Las Vegas once or twice a year and downtown often. I love the experience because it is so different than the strip. It's fun to see street people such as music, artists and the hourly street experience show.  Scott Schneider  Buffalo Grove, IL

I was given a trip to Vegas for my 40th birthday and the Fremont Street experience was by far my best experience of the trip! I loved the lights, music and atmosphere and my next trip am planning on staying down there so I can enjoy the show several times a day!  Tahnee Crawford  Mount Vernon, WA

I was just there last week and have been many many times. I really enjoy it other than being crowded with people who have had to much to drink. I think this need to be policed better. Other wise, great time!  Jim Swanson  Grand Island, Ne

I loved the Freemont Street Experience. I don't know what the Casinos think about it because paople are in the streets and not in the Casinos at Show times. The show is the reason I come to downtown every time I go to Las Vegas.  Gary White   Lawndale  California
