Over 100,000 people per night is expected at the Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC) on June 20-22, 2014. The sold out event is held at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Rumor has it this is the last year for it to be held at the Speedway, starting in 2015 they want to have it held on the Las Vegas Strip area. Do you think this event should remain at the Speedway or move to the Strip area? What is your opinion? We want to hear from you. (See other readers’ opinions below.)

I dont care where they put the event, not for me. John S. NM

I have attended last year and it was ok, I will probably go again but it was not that great with all the stage problems. Linda J. San Diego, CA

This type of event should be held away from the casino strip area. It is not the same and mixing it might have problems. Robert K. Houston TX

I attended the event last year and i see no way it could be held close to the strip area, bad idea. Jeffrey S Salt Lake City, UT

It would be great to attend EDC without going way out to the race track, the cost of a cab is rediculous. Move it closer. Connie Bowers NY

The noise, mass amount of people and no way to move them easily will be a huge challenge to move it into the strip area. Bad idea. atleast when it is at the race track many can drive their own cars, but in strip area no parking lot that big for a crowd of 100k. Daniel Howard Chicago IL

Leave it alone. California didnt want it anymore because of the probelms it caused them, so I see no reason to have it closer to the gambling area. Michelle Boston MA

This type of event is not for me, doesnt matter where they hold it as long as it does disrupt my trips from my hotel to the casinos. Becky Sullivan Canada
