The week reader poll asks the question . . . As reported this week and prior IVLV newsletters, the closing of the historical 60-year local attraction Bonnie Springs has many people with mixed emotions. Even though no other building can be created in the Red Rock area as this 63-acre parcel was the only private land not owned by the Bureau of Land Management, some people are never happy with change. The new use of the land will be 20 home sites, a small motel and event area. Will this be good for the Las Vegas area since Bonnie Springs is only a few minutes west of Las Vegas? Why or why not? What is your opinion? We want to hear from you (See other Readers’ opinions below.)

will the develope near las vegas to replace bonnie springs old west city

Reader Poll Replies:

I visited Bonnie Springs a couple times in the past twenty years and it was fun. It was not Disneyland so to tear it down and build something new is probably a good things. progress waits on no one. Frank R. Phoenix, AZ

sure many people have trouble with change but this will be a good things for the area. especially since they are building expensive homes, not a zillion apartments. Dave S Las Vegas, NV
