Believing in freedom of speech, this week’s Reader Poll question asks a controversial question . . . do you think these suggestive adult advertisements should be allowed to cruise and hold up traffic on the Las Vegas Strip? What is your opinion? We want to hear from you. (See other Readers’ opinions below.)

Reader Poll Replies:

I dont think these type of suggestive ads should be permitted. There are families walking up and down the Strip and the kids do not need to be exposed to this type of material. Samantha J. Tulsa, OK

Not sure which is worse, those people handing out papers about the topless clubs and suggestive gilrs or the trucks with the larger than life images. Bad taste to say the least. Jennifer Howard TN.

It does not bother me, i just make sure i never do business or spend any money with a casino that allows that type of advertisements to be displayed on their property. Those trucks need to go. Robert Brown Phoenix AZ

I believe in the right to advertise whether on a billboard, on a bus, a taxi, or even on one of these vehicles that have a sole purpose of advertising. The content is not relative. I do believe that the traffic impact is relative. If there isn't a quota restriction during higher traffic hours, there needs to be. The 4 mile strip area could accommodate 1 per mile without too much problem. Mike Berryman Mayville, WI

Better left in Pvt Clubs and other Pvt Places No need to expose to People that do not want to see Why expose to Families and Children that are on the streets? Stephen Samac Brooklyn,Oh

It doesn't bother me. You get used to seeing them if you visit Vegas enough. As long as my daughter isn't on the side I'm for keeping them cruising the strip. Scott Schneider Buffalo Grove, Illinois
