Question:

The Nevada governor signed two bills (Assembly Bill 258) one bill instructing the Nevada Gaming Commission to set up regulations and to grant licenses to casinos to offer online poker (if and when) the US Federal government approves online gambling. The Nevada Gaming regulators will have six months to approve the regulations. Assembly Bill 295 allows casinos to offer mobile gaming devices for their customer on property. Do you think this is good or bad to have additional ways to gamble while in Las Vegas?  We want to hear from you! (See other readers opinions below.)

Reader Poll Replies:

I think it is good to have more ways to gamble, how else can i loose my money any faster.  Wayne L.  Chicago IL

Makes no difference to me, I am a slot player and i like the touchie feelie part of the machine.  No electronic devices for me.   Barbara Sawyer

I am not a big fan of electronic gaming, that must be for the younger players.   Give me the good old tables any day.   David Hollinger

My preference would be to play online games at home, but if it can only be done on the casino property that is better than nothing.  Hang out in the room, no smoke and play my brains out..... what a wonder country.  Steve  Dallas TX

I have never gambled online but I guess i would give it a try.   Technology is moving forward and you might as well go with it.   Barbara D.  San Francisco, CA

If the payouts are the same and there are no hidden costs i would be interested.  Ususally these new ideas somehow cost us players a fortune.   Ed Denver Colorado

If they can show me how to win once in a while I would play, seems like the last couple trips to Vegas and Atlantic City I have done nothing but donate.  Cheryl Hopkins

Sounds like fun, cannt wait till i get there fror new years eve, hopefully they will be ready for me on that trip.  Donna  San DiegoCA

this will lead to more job loses and broke people  ken conti  warwick r.i.

Maybe I can luckier in my room than at the talbes.  I would try it.   Vince  Chicago IL
