As reported in this week Insider Viewpoint of Las Vegas newsletter, the controversial rock Day-Glo totems located south of Las Vegas on I-15 Highway has extended the exhibit through the end of 2018. We ask the question should the artistic exhibit be removed at the end of the 2018 and eliminate the 1,000 people a day visiting this work of art? What is your opinion? We want to hear from you. (See other Readers’ opinions below.)

Las Vegas has many attractions one of them is a day glo toeems located south of the city.

I kinda like them, leave them up and find the money to maintain them. Denise Santa Fe NM

They are so bizaree that makes them neat. Maybe i am to old to fully understand, but it is a great tourist attaction. Bob D. Las Vegas NV

1000 visitors a day seem substantial to me, especially 2 years later. why not keep the exhibit as permanent? If there are costs involved, I am sure nearby businesses such as Gold Strike Casino and Speed Vegas, who must benefit from their proximity would contribute. A collection box could be installed onsite. If each person who comes would donate $1 that is $365,000 a year. The artist could collect a percentage each year and the art community from around the world would benefit. Howard Kendall Henderson NV

Nothing i like, take them down, leave them up, but dont tax me to make some art lover happy. Gina S. San Diego.CA

Theya re to strange for my taste. Likes like something which as an after thought. I would not pay or support the artist attempt. B. Jones San Francisco, CA

I think they should stay there. It is a nice break in the middle of the desert! Colorful and is already attracting visitors. Leave it and expAnd on it! Sue Martin Interlochen, MI
