As mentioned in this week IVLV Newsletter, Switch data centers have expanded into Reno Nevada and now have the expansion capabilities of more than 10 million square feet under a roof between the Las Vegas and Reno locations. This week Reader Poll asks, do you think this will be a huge surge increase for tech companies to work with Nevada and either move some of their operation to Nevada or at least utilize the most advanced data center in the world? What is your opinion? We want to hear from you. (See other Readers’ opinions below.)

Las vegas and now Reno have the most modern data centers in the world.

The entire world is tech orintated so I think it will be a large surge of income and new businesses working with Nevada. Great idea to build it in the desert. Bill Anderson Denver CO

My company already uses the services of Switch and that is the first time we used a Nevada company. As the tech world learns more about the great facilities and the new one in Reno it should give a good economic boost to Nevada in jobs and related industry. Roger G. Dallas, TX

I didnt realize such a huge data center was being built in Nevada. I have already passed it along to my IT department and thanks for the heads up. Stan L. Phoenix, AZ

A total space of 10 million square feet is almost unbelievable. This will definitely put Nevada on the map around the world and generate sales and new jobs. Good work Kimberly Smith San Diego, CA
