Question:
As stated in this week IVLV newsletter, free wi-fi is now available to everyone that is within a one mile radius of Fremont Street Experience. This week’s Reader Poll asks the question do you think this should also be a service offered throughout the Las Vegas Strip area?  Why or why not?  What is your opinion?  We want to hear from you!    (See other readers’ opinions below.)

Reader Poll Replies:

I like the idea of free wifi, it sure would be easier than going from casino to casino and trying to find a connection.   James R.

i would love to have it free on the strip some casinos do offer it free but harrahs properties still do not even for me a diamond member crazy cheaper hotels motels give it free with rooms but not most expensive hotels hummmm.  Jeffrey Prindle   lancaster, ca

no, folks staying on the strip can afford to pay for the service.  Louise  Winooski, VT

We stayed @ the Golden Nugget in September. I found the free WiFi and really enjoyed not having to pay the exorbitant fees Vegas Hotels charge for WiFi service. Yes it would be great if expanded even with Advertising, which would be a small price to pay for the service. James Krinke   Lodi, WI

It would be a great deal for those that stay in the hotels on the strip, because some of them charge an outrageous amount each day for access now.  Rose Marie Mezzapeso  Poland, OH

I think it is great to have free wi-fi. If you have it everywhere in Vegas people can stay longer because they can still do their jobs using the internet.  Diane Dufresne  Winooski VT

They should provide something free, they seem to have taken away other items the casino original gave us.  Barbara  San Francisco, CA

I would appreciate free wifi, it seems the least they could do to keep everyone connected in this technology society.  James G.  Tucson AZ

Sounds like a great idea.   Jennifer Mathews
