Question:

During a cocktail party this past week, one of the major casino’s executive asked IVLV a very interesting question. So interesting we thought it would be a perfect Readers Poll question. If big casino hotel customers were allowed to bring small pets, would they come to Las Vegas more often?   What is your opinion?  We want to hear from you!(See other readers opinions below.)

Reader Poll Replies:

Yes, i would come to vegas more often if a major casino would allow me to bring my three cats.  Linda A.  Texas

I am not sure who is going to determine what small pet is, is that a poodle or a great dane?  I think it would soon be a problem.  Daneil Foster

I would be less inclined to come more often if I thought I had to listen to someone else's pet yap through the evening. Many different definitions of "small pet" as well. Some will think it is ok to bring multiple pets. I sure don't want to step in a mess in the hallway because someone didn't get their pet outside quickly enough, or smell pet odors as I walk through the hotel. Bed bugs aren't enough without adding fleas and ticks?  W. Wessing  Springfield, IL

Dont make me stay in a hotel / casino with pets.  My allergies would be out of control.  Peg   St.  MO

Well I geuss I would think it pretty silly to bring pets to vegas how much time would you really be spending with them anyways no I dont think so maybe for the little old lady that does'nt like to leave her baby with anyone but how much time is she gonna spend with her animal if she is playing slots not a good idea I am an animal lover leave them at home with someone vegas is not a place for them.  Debbie Theiss  Fairdale ky

I dont want to stay in a dog hotel.  Count me out.  Walter Besser

Pets are fine, but like kids they should stay at home, not in Las Vegas.  Cindy D.

its a great ides ballys and paris offer pet friendly rooms...if you are traveling with your pet you will stay there because they offer the rooms. ladies today carry small dogs in their purses as accessories.they wont leave home without them. id rather have a guest with a small dog thats behaved next to me rather rhan a smaal child who isnt behaved! great questition.  Theresa Holden  zion/illinois
