As stated in the Insider Viewpoint of Las Vegas Newsletter, Las Vegas 51's baseball season will officially open on April 7, 2016. Las Vegas for years has been searching for ways to bring a NHA, NBA, NFL team to the city. At this time, this is the closest Las Vegas has to a professional team. This week’s Reader Poll asks the question is Las Vegas really ready for a major league professional team when the average attendance for a 51's game last year was only 4834 attendees. I realize they are not a major league team but it proves the point Las Vegas is not ready for professional big league teams. Only 4000+ people per game is not impressive. Ann Justine San Diego, CA
