Winning Poker Hands
Las Vegas and Poker have been synonymous for years. When playing poker, often the most frustrating part of the game is figuring out which hand outranks another at the poker table. Insider Viewpoint of Las Vegas has assembled below the in a very easy to read display so you never have to wonder who is the winner of any poker hand.

The following are the winning hands of poker, ranked highest to the lowest in descending order.

Royal Flush

A,K,Q,J, and 10 of the same suit.
Straight Flush J-10-9-8-7 Five cards in sequence of the same suit.
Four of a Kind J-J-J-J-5 Four cards of the same rank.
Full House 6-6-6-Q-Q Three of a kind, plus a pair.
Flush J-8-5-3-2 Five cards of the same suit.
Straight 8-7-6-5-4 Five cards in sequence. (Ace can be high or low.)
Three of a Kind 7-7-7-J-A Three cards of the same rank.
Two Pair Q-Q-9-9-2 Two cards of one rank and two cards of another rank.
One Pair 5-5-2-A-Q Two cards of one rank and two cards of another rank.

If players have an identical combination, the player with the highest card has the winning hand.  For example, both have a pair of 9, the highest single card is a eight, if the other player has a ten, his poker hand is better and he wins. Each player will use five cards for their hand. The player with the highest hand is the winner. A sixth card is never used to break a tie.
