NCAA Women's Championship - 1982 to Date
The NCAA Women's Basketball Championship is a single elimination tournament held each each April. To be selected into this tournament the conference tournament champions from each Division 1 conference receive an automatic bid and the remaining teams are selected by NCAA selection committee. In the beginning only 32 teams participated and the number has grown to 64 teams each year.
