Voter
Registration Information
Nevada is a closed primary state,
which means voters cannot vote for partisan offices in the primary election unless they
are
either registered with the Democratic or Republican parties.
Registering to vote in Clark County requires applicants to be a United States citizen,
18-years-old by the election date and have lived in the state and county for at least
30-days and live within their precinct 10-days prior to the election.
To register, your choices to receive an application is by mail, call, write or fax a
request to the Clark County Election Department at 455-VOTE.

Keep Your
Receipt:
|
|
Whether
you register in person or by mail, make sure you detach the receipt
from your Application and retain it as proof of your registration.
Keep it until you receive your Voter Registration Card or until you
vote. If for some reason the Election Department did not
receive your Application, the receipt will greatly aid in
researching the matter.
