Floyd Lamb State
Park started as Tule Springs. This park was famous for water. Later, it became
privately held full-scale working ranch. It later became a privately owned working
ranch, as well as a guest/dude ranch during the 1950's.
Besides the Tule Springs Ranch Historic Area, the park offers lovely tree shaded groves
alongside the small fishing lakes, the picnic areas and a walking / bicycling path go
throughout the park. Traveling to Floyd Lamb State Park is easy, take Highway 95,
traveling north of Las Vegas only ten miles.
