Sunny
and Blue to Mother from You
Your mother's smile can be as radiant
as the sun on May 14 - Mother's Day - simply by presenting her with a
cobalt blue vase filled with yellow sunflowers.
This combination of contrasting colors
is one of many specials available this May at Elegant Creations &
Celebrations Florist (ECC), 1103 E. Tropicana Avenue for the special
mothers in your life.
ECC carries sunflowers in a variety of
sizes to suit your mother's taste. They can be arranged simply
with greens or with other flowers such as blue iris, delphinium or
statice. Sunflower vases and arrangements start at $40.00.
Another popular choice for Mother's
Day or for Administrative Professionals Week, April 23-29, is a spring
garden of tulips, iris, daisies and a lily arranged in a stained rattan
basket. This starts at $35.00. For $55.00 the same
arrangement can include three roses.
Why stop at honoring your mother for
just a day when you can honor her all year round? At ECC we can
send your mother flowers every month to make her feel extra
special. Just let us know what you would like to send or let us
chose for you. Prices vary depending on the flowers chosen.
A free picture frame will be included
with any local order placed before Friday, May 5th for Mother's Day
orders.

ECC Designs Place in
Competition
Three
designers from Elegant Creations & Celebrations placed in a local
competition in April sponsored by the Children's Sunrise Hospital
Foundation.
Under
the theme of "Color Us Friends." ECC owner Caroline Rohrer won
first for her arrangement representing Japan, Jane Owen won first in the
novelty category and Lora Gemignani won second in the theme
category. Nada Patterson entered the elegant category.
ECC
competed against other Las Vegas flower shops. The designs were on
display April 15 at a gala celebration in the Paris Hotel Ballroom.
ECC also supplied centerpieces for the gala which represented countries of
the world.
Secretaries
Week now Honors More
Professional
Secretaries Week is now Administrative Professionals Week after the
founding organization changed the name this month. The International
Association of Administrative Professionals changed the name to reward all
administrative professio9nals instead of just secretaries. The
professionals are honored April 23 to 29.
