* I will be in Vegas just like I have for
the past six years. Nothing will keep me away. What a
blast Wayne R.
* My husband and I plan on going to Las
Vegas this year. We did not go last year because of the terrorist threat
of 9/11. We are looking forward to a great time, where else would any
normal person spend New Years!!! Bonnie H. CA
* Vegas all the way.... My friends and I
are coming in the day after Christmas and making a full ten day run at the
casinos. Look out Vegas, Texas is coming. Larry and Friends
from Dallas.
* Vegas is the best place for New
Years. I have tried the NY masses, but frozen my bottom. I like
the 24 town and I will be back again this year. Douglas Chicago
* Finally I get to gripe about a sore
subject for me. At the turn of the century i wanted very badly to go to
Atlantic City for the new year. My host told me that it was going to be
hard to get a room, blah blah .well it was a ghost town. every one was
skeptical to go cause of the big change, remember every computer was going to
crash. well nothing happened. I know this is not about a stay in Vegas
but my point is that I will never come to a gambling Mecca for a new year.
prices are jacked up , slick willies are everywhere and the potential to get
hot tickets are slim at best. so i usually stay here in CT. Invite some
family and friends, play cards , eat watch a good flick and kick back. I'm
coming to Vegas on the 12th. better rates and less of a crowd. Watcherboy
* Unfortunately I cannot get to Vegas
this year, it will be the first year that I have missed New Years in Vegas in
the past 14 years. Not afraid of the crowds or the terrorists, just got
a medical problem that needs to be taken care of and I will not be out
of the hospital. Keep those dice warm and I will be back in
January 2003. Floyd T. TX
