#1.   Since Las Vegas is the Entertainment Capital of the World, would you like to see more sporting events in Las Vegas, such as a professional Baseball, Football, or Hockey franchise permanently in Las Vegas?  Why or Why Not?

Reader Poll Replies:

*  Don't need all those sports events in Vegas.  They just make it harder to get room at a good rate. If you want sports stay home and watch them on TV.  G.J. Smith

*  No sporting events, I am tired of seeing those games on television, the last thing I want is to come to Vegas to see it in person.  Give me the good old days with topless show girls, and big showrooms.  Linda M NY.

*  Please don't alter Las Vegas by having sporting events, it should remain as it is - purely entertainment and casinos.  People come from all around the world to see the shows and try their luck - so many of the sports are USA based that they would not really interest visitors from overseas and to my mind, you can always watch sports on TV  - if you are really that keen. Thanks Sue Ellbourn  from the land Down Under

*  I prefer to go to regular adult type show while in Las Vegas.  Sports are great and I follow my teams at home but not in Vegas.  I am looking for something I cannot do in my town.  Chuck  CA

*  Vegas has so much to offer that I do not even think of it as a professional team kind of town.  As a matter of fact if I want to see a sporting event while in Vegas I will go to the UNLV basketball game or football game.  They may not be pros, but it is more fun that watching some overpaid professional athlete who makes $10 million a year through a temper tantrum.  Ann AZ

*  I am a sports nut, but I do not want to have Vegas obtain a local professional team.  That would mean we could not be on it.  I like sports betting and that is the only kind of gambling I do, please no hometown team.  Jason Highfield, FL
