Reader Poll Replies: * I
have always believed that ET and his little buddies were housed in Area
51. Tom G.
* Besides spooky space craft, weird
airplanes and the tightest security in the world, it would not surprise
me if they had several E. T.'s in their possession. Wanda

* I'd like to know
when flying over it, what is seen lol. I fly to Vegas many times and I
don't know where the area is to look for what is outside of the base.
Exotic airplanes and top secret items isn't as scary as nuclear reactors
far as I'm concerned. Sherrill Chatham Canada
* I think it may have been
used for such topics as the extra-terrestrial back in earlier days, but
think it's just a test base where planes, etc. are tried/tested. Jim

* First, the military will never tell you what it is doing. It
is none of your business. It is for your own good. Second, the
military will tell you anything you want to hear rather than the truth,
ie "Weather balloons". ET stories are a diversion from the truth.
Third, Lockheed has been building and testing really interesting stuff
at Groom Lake AFB for decades, and The Skunk Works continues to find new
technologies to play with. If they don't tell you about it, it doesn't
get stolen by the Chinese as soon. Fourth and most realistic, if
there was anything of any value going on, someone would have taken
pictures of it and sold it to the Washington Post by now. Buy your
Area 51 Drivers License, and go see the Star Trek Experience. It doesn't
hurt. Don Bartley Portland, OR |
