* I would like to think the
elected officials of Vegas has enough foresight to clean up their city before
it becomes another Los Angeles. Yes, I think it would be smart to place
restrictions or laws on those vehicles. Candice E.
* Traveling by taxi in Las Vegas is
already a scary situation, but to improve the air quality it should be
mandatory they use a cleaner fuel. Tom D CA
* Yes, please make all vehicles that move
large numbers of people around the dense part of a city use electric or a
better fuel source than gasoline or diesel. Take a lesson from us
southern California residents, you do not want another LA air pollution
problem. Dana CA
* Any thing to save the pollution
and not turn Las Vegas into a city with air pollution scares has my vote.

* Yes, "if" the cost
isn't overly expensive to "us the visitors" pockets. I have been to
Vegas enough times and have either rented a car to taken a taxi. The streets
are packed with cars all day long. Traffic just seems to sit and the fumes can
become pretty horrific. You can see what the pollution is doing to such a
beautiful, lively city that never sleeps. With the kind of money all the
casino/hotels make they could could all contribute a certain small percentage
to help develop a project and to help the cabs and busses. Nancy
