Las Vegas New Years Eve celebrations are known worldwide for a great time. Do you plan to partake in the Las Vegas celebration this year?  Why or Why Not?
Reader Poll Replies:

I come to Las Vegas every year to enjoy the great weather and the New Years Eve parties.  It is just wonderful.  Alice B

* Yes , because there is no better place for a party. Mary Anne Taglia  Minnesota

* HI; No, not attending...too crowded...glad the Monorail is back up...I had hoped to ride on it at the SEMA show and it was down and crowded in the streets down the strip...willl always come back to Las Vegas Tho, thanks for a great Information Site, Dwight

* No, Too many people. I like to visit Las Vegas during the week and in off-peak times. Fighting crowds of people is not my idea of a relaxing vacation. Although, I love the fast pace life in Vegas, and my husband and I plan to make a trip there at least once every year, I think New Year's Eve would be a mad house.   Janae Griffith  Ankeny, IA

* Hotel rooms prices are too high. Would like too as I lived there in the from about 1950 till about 1962. Bob Miller Chino Valley AZ

* I won't be in Vegas for New Year's. The prices of hotels are horrendous. I will be there for a week, including the Super Bowl!  Martha Mantel  Palo Alto, CA

No, we will miss it very much. We could not get a decent price on air line tickets. hopefully next year will be better.  Pat Wojewoda Cocoa Beach, FL

* No, I do not plan to attend the New Year's Eve celebration in Las Vegas. My main reason is there are simply too many plastic people working too hard to have a good time. Therefore, they drink too much and become annoying. Live long and prosper!  Capt. Janeway

* We just arrived home from Vegas on Tuesday the 28th as my husband has to work this new years eve. Would loved to have been there as it is the 100th anniversary and lots happening. hopefully we will be there next year,  Tena Blackwell
