Las Vegas is known for many things including the Entertainment Capital of the world. Even thought we offer half price tickets to more than 50 shows in Las Vegas, the regular box office prices for shows in Las Vegas range from $12 to several hundred dollars per ticket. This week Readers Poll asks the question . . . What is a fair price to spend on a quality show ticket in Las Vegas?  What is your opinion? We want to hear from you! (See other readers opinions below.)

Tickets should be in the price range of under $100 per.  Then maybe the rest of us mortals could afford to take a family of four to one of the big casino shows.   Dwayne Cooker

I dont care what it costs, just make it good.  I have seen some of the hype like the cirque magic show and what a joke.  I think some people should stay on television and not charge any money because live entertainment is not their speciality.  Laura  Tampa FL

$50   ben keeler  san antonio/tx

I think tickets should be $40 for good shows and a max of $75 for great shows.  No way I can take my wife and three children to these big shows.  Daniel Forrest

Prices for visiting performers can be $80 to$100 per ticket, but to charge same amounts for standard Las Vegas shows ,that are on the strip longer then I am alive?$30,maybe $40 for a ticket and not one penny more.  Polina Yerkhov   Reseda, CA

Last month my family went to Vegas for the first time in three years.  If it wasnt for your other web site we could never have experienced any shows.  The regular prices seemed rediculous at the box office.   Using your half price site made it feasible for my family to enjoy las vegas. I think a family should be able to enjoy vegas and thanks for allowing that to happen.   Wayne Topeka KS

Due to the economic crisis create a game in which people are given the choice of donating an entry fee for a chance to win a discounted ticket or paying a set price. The entry fee would be given to a charity to benefit Las Vegas urbanites experiencing financial crisis.  Marilyn Vanderwarren  Litchfield Park, AZ

It seems to me that some of these really big shows with the huge prices for their tickets should get out of their ivory towers and look at the number of empty seats they have every night in their showroom.  No way these showrroms can be filled and who is kidding who, do they want less money, I will go, pay $100+ per ticket, you can keep your empty seat.  Gene S. Los Angeles CA
