This week’s Reader Poll asks the question . . . It seems gasoline prices rise almost daily and many experts predict $5.00 per gallon price by summertime. With the raising cost of gasoline and diesel fuel, is this additional cost going to slow down the number of times you visit Las Vegas casinos?  What is your opinion? We want to hear from you!(See other readers opinions below.)

Reader Poll Replies:

I dont like the raise in fuel costs but that is not going to slow me down.  I still have my gambling money nest egg and it is going to be spent wisely again this year.  Darell L. Chicago IL

We usually come to Las Vegas once a year and plan on visiting in December. I don't like higher gas prices especially when you see the profits of gas companies. Plan on saving more money for Vegas trip for gas prices and might decrease gambling funds for difference.  Darcie Gilbert  Ashland, Ohio

Even if gas goes to $10 a gallon, it will not interfer with my two trips a year to Las Vegas.  Tim Gibson

The way things are going world wide I don't think the price of petrol will come down.It may go up and down but it will always go up and stay up.We will be visiting vagas as we do every year in April so this year will be no differant even with flights getting expensive every time we come over.  Jennifer Thow  Sydney N.S.W  Australia

Not sure where this price gauging is going to stop, but it will not keep me away from my periodical Las Vegas trips.  Wayne  Chicago IL

Gas prices do not bother me, the cost of the bottle service in the nightclubs is what bothers me.  Roger Towers

The cost of gas will probably go over $5 per gallon if Obama and the oil giants have anthing to do with it.  They would like to have the public get a diversion from people watching how bad they are running the country.   LL  Sacramento, CA

We seldom drive to las vegas and being in a big city living close to work the cost per gallon does not affect our visits to vegas.  However, it would be nice if the gasolines did offer some type of gasoline incentive for customers.   Martha K.
