This week’s Reader Poll refers to Harrah’s Casino which has begun talks again about their 2011 proposed Project Ling which is an entertainment center consisting of 20 restaurants, 20 retail stores and among other points of interest a 500+ foot observation wheel. The observation wheel would be similar to the wheels of Paris, Dubai or Beijing Do you think Las Vegas is ready for this type of project and would you visit this type of attraction?  What is your opinion? We want to hear from you!  (see other opinions below)

PLEASE NOTE: The following text entries are the exact words of our readers

Reader Poll Replies:

I feel that is a good project and i would go.  Donna Sawyer

If they really build it, I would probably try it once.  I have been a little disappointed on the Harrahs projects that never got completed in Vegas.  Roger A.  NYC NY

Yes I think Vegas I ready for this. I will be in an area that does not have a lot of traffic and would surley boost traffic in that area If build.  Jeanene Collins  Wellington, OH

Sure, i am a junkie on amusement rides.  Me and my friends will be the first in line.  Joshua Chicago IL

I would definitely come to ride a 500+foot observation wheel. Hopefully there are some bars mixed in with the 20 restaurants. I once remember reading it would be similar to Bourbon St.. This would be another reason to come to Vegas and celebrate. I will bring plenty of beads!   Howard  Indianapolis, IN

Yes, I think it is a nice project.  Las Vegas is certainly ready for this new attraction, as they have it in Paris or Dubai. Vegas is an extraordinairy city for every one, every age.
This new observation wheel will be a must after the Eiffel tower and the Stratosphere. I am eager to visit it.  Josee Bedard    Montreal Canada

I think the proposed Project Ling is a good idea especially the observation wheel. I'm not a rollercoaster person therefore I have never been on one although I would like to have the nerve. With the observation wheel I would at least be able to see Las Vegas and hopefully if it didn't go fast I would enjoy the intimacy of the ride - just me my partner and Las Vegas - Heaven.  Georgina Kelly  Meath  Ireland
