Entertainment in Las Vegas comes in many forms. Months ago we asked about the new craze of indoor gun ranges in Las Vegas and the ability to shoot machine guns. This week’s Reader Poll question asks have you ever shot a machine gun and would that be something that interests you while you were in Las Vegas if you were given an economic incentive? Our sister web site,, offers the only 50% off gun range deals in Las Vegas.  What is your opinion? We want to hear from you! (See other readers’ opinions below.)

Reader Poll Replies:

My opinion of guns is something that people should only use in an indoor controled environment.  I think giving people a discount would attract me and my friends.  Roger A.

When I come to Vegas I am more of a casino hermit rather than out finding new activities so I dont think guns would interest me.   Debbie Johnson. NYC

I think it is a great idea and cannot wait until my next trip to vegas to try it out.  Bob Smith Philadelphia PA

This is a good idea, to offer discounts.  My friends and i always take time to go for an indoor range experience.  Something we cannot do in our country.  James T. England

I don't believe I would spend my money shooting a machine gun, which is something I would likely never need to use in my lifetime. . .with the exception of certain horrific scenarios. Practicing with guns used for hunting is certainly something I would do and have done. Having said that, I know people who would be likely to patronize a range offering this service, even if only once for the experience.  W. Wessing  Springfield, IL

Think that Gun Training and Trial Shooting on various weapons is desireable, and with Gun Controls and restrictions in other locales it will be an added attraction for the Las Vegas area.  Robert Feldman   Los Angeles, CA

Yes that would be a blast. We have checked in to this activity before but felt it a bit too pricey. We have a whole group of people who want to go do this together. This pricing would make if much more affordable! Thanks!    P Westra    Las Vegas NV

Yes, I have shot a machine gun. Years ago in the army. Would I go to a indoor range in Las Vegas, no.I go to Vegas to see what I can't see here. I don't have a machine gun, but I do have guns and go to the outdoor range anytime I want.Las Vegas is fun. Why bring guns into it. By the way, I was in Vegas las week. Left Mo., and drove out there and back. the hightest gas I ran into was here at home in MO. Good for Ks. Co. Ut. Nv.
Az. Nm. Texas and Ok. All had a good gas price. And Vegas was the ch   Steve Sedalia, Mo

I have never shot a machine gun, but think it would be fun to try. Glad we still have the right to do so!  Chris Hammond  Findlay, Ohio

I did shoot one in Vegas with a group of people and it was a blast (Pardon the pun). It would be fun to do again on our next trip out there.   Cliff Barton  Baton Rouge, La
