Rumor has it that Arizona is investigating the possibility of setting up a toll road on a section of I-15 Freeway. As you travel from Las Vegas to Utah, on I-15, you must travel through about 30 miles of Arizona. Arizona in their unique way of taking advantage of anyone is exploring the possibilities of them capitalizing on this possible toll road.  This week’s Reader Poll asks the question . . . do you think Arizona should set up a toll road?  Why or Why not?  What is your opinion? We want to hear from you!   ( See other readers opinions below.)

Reader Poll Replies:

The toll road is nothing more than a bad attempt of a state to extort money of the general public on a road they could care less.  If that road is to costly for Arizona to maintain, give it to Nevada.  Gloria Hodges  TX

With gas costly more each year, the last thing we need is another cost just to drive down the road.  I-15 is critical road from southern US to Canada.  Dennis Walker, LA CA

No they should not. It is crazy to set up a toll road for that short of a distance. It will cost more for employees and maintenance of the booths then the road would generate in revenue.  chris koch  ashland, ohio

What a joke.  no wonder our government is so messed up that states have to pray on other states.   R Johnson   MS

I personally would not use any services or do business with a state that would hold hostage travelors just because they found a new way to tax them.  Ginger  CA

Another reason no one goes to Arizona.   They seem to always trying to figure out a way to remove you and your money.   Dwayne Sawyer
