As Las Vegas seems to slip into third place in the world structure of casino locations, do not be surprised in the next few years if it declines even lower. Las Vegas has always been considered the Mecca of gambling is now being out shined by Macau and Singapore gaming revenues. The odd part is, these two locations take in more money than Las Vegas and Singapore accomplish this with only two casinos in the entire city. What part of the world do you think will be the next hot spot to build casinos?  What is your opinion? We want to hear from you!   ( See other readers opinions below.)

Reader Poll Replies:

The next hot spot will probably be another Asian country, they seem to have the money now in this economy.    Jill Rodgers  CA

I think the China government will finally wake up and want to be in the action of casino owning.  I cannot see them leaving all that money go out of their country without getting involved.   Carlos Hansen

I bet it is a country like Mexico, or some other location that is really short money and they welcome US casinos to come in and fix their economic problems.   Darrell Watkins Dallas TX

Galveston Texas. The whole island should be dedicated to resort style casinos. Its a beautiful island just waiting for the right purpose. With the cruise ships departing and arriving in Galveston now it would bring visitors from all over the world to gamble and see other great parts of Texas. It should be renamed Casino Isle. Lets not let other countries
take money from us. Lets build here.  Gary Payne  Las Vegas Nevada

Build them everywhere, it might be the only way to recover taxes to balance a budget for this country.  Lawrence Edwards
