This week a prominent local businessman approached Insider Viewpoint of Las Vegas with a very interesting question regarding a new air travel service soon to be operational for the Las Vegas area. This week’s Reader Poll question asks . . . When you come to Las Vegas for fun, business, wedding, bachelor or bachelorette party or whatever reason, have you ever considered chartering an airplane rather than flying commercial airlines?    What is your opinion? We want to hear from you!

Reader Poll Replies:

Chartering a plane sounds like more fun, but I thought that would cost a lot more than a commercial airlines.  If they are cheaper, then I am in.   Cindy K. Dallas TX

Not sure I would be using this service.  I guess if it was safe and less money it would be alright.  I would be more interested in time of day the service was offered.  B. Tomlin St Louis MS.

We not only considered it, we did it. But in recent years, between 9/11 and the economy the charter flight we use to take is no longer available. Although we like the charter flight we don't want to be tied down to a hotel or restrictive length of stay as part of the deal.  Ellie Nosky  Canton MI

If it could save me money and not waste my time going through all that security lines i would be very interested.  James L.  NC

I have never flown a private charter before, but it sounds fun and if it is the same price or less, then I would like to hear more.  Betty Sawyer, NY

Yes, sounds good to me, how do I get more info.   Roger Goodman  Miami FL

you have my attention, how does it work?  Debbi Morgan  Seattle

We have never considered it on our budget. Las Vegas is just one stop on our two month driving trip during the winter months. I would rather spend the money on playing games.  Beverly DiMascio  Akron,Oh
