Question:
Once again the talks about a High Speed Rail system between California and Las Vegas are arising. On November 4, 2008, Californians voted in favor of an 800-mile Sacramento to San Diego route for a high speed train. This week�s Reader Poll asks the question would you be in favor of a California to Las Vegas high speed train and would you use it if available? What is your opinion? We want to hear from you!

I'm in Mo. It wouldn't make any differents to me. As long as no federal money is used. I don't want my tax money going into it.If California wants to spend their taxes to make it easery for their people to spend their money in another state. I say go for it. Just not my taxes. I would favor the rail line if it is built with private money, but we don't need more public debt and taxes to finance this. Eric Rowley Las Vegas, NV

I think it would be a great idea. It would cut down on the amount of traffic on the strip, and to the area in general. also it would ensure some needed employment. Lenny Spero Middle Island, New York
