Once again the creative minds of politicians are at work and that brings us to this weeks Reader Poll question . . . Should Las Vegas allow legal prostitution and levy a large tax on the service to help the deficit budget for the city / state?   What is your opinion? We want to hear from you!  (see other opinions below)

Reader Poll Replies:

You might as well legalize it and tax it, that way it could be under control and the masses get the tax benefits.    Gloria L

If it is legal less than 100 miles away in Nevada, why not make it legal throughout the state and generate income for the state.   This business is never going away so you might as well tax it.    Mike Foster    TX

That works for me.   Ken S.

Whatever saves them from taxing me is a good deal.  Walt Bowyer

Seems like they have taxed all the good people, why not the people that perform questionable moral occupations.  It is time for everyone to help pay this unbelievable debt these crazy politicians are putting us under with their giveaway programs.   Deb H.

No need to tax them, for thousands of years they could never catch them so why worry about taxing them, they dont probably pay IRS either.   Ben Cohen

Not my kind of place to visit, so that is not why I go to vegas.  give me a slot machine and leave me alone and that is my idea of a fun time in vegas.  Donna Pruitt

Dont tax them, let them do a service and it will only bring more people to vegas in a time of recession.  Larry Becker NY
