As stated in IVLV Newsletter this week, certain streets in Las Vegas are becoming one way streets to help with the flow of traffic and bicycles. This week Reader Poll asks the questions, do you think it is good or bad for downtown Las Vegas to add more one way streets? What is your opinion? We want to hear from you. (See other Readers’ opinions below.)

Reader Poll Replies:

I think making streets one way will increase traffic flow and be good for the city, it is about time. Paula G. Las Vegas, NV

This is a good start, now if they made Las Vegas blvd one way that would really help. Robert L. Reno, NV

Most major cities have traffic problems and Las Vegas is getting worse each year. Hopefully these one way streets will improve the situation. Ed Jones, Phoenix, AZ

I am not sure this will solve any trafiic problems, more liking solve one problem but create three more. Making sure the traffic lights work together and are designed for a person to drive cross town with the flow of traffic is more important than one way streets Darrel K. Portland OR

One way streets and people still running red lights in Las Vegas will not solve the problem. Place more cops on street corners stopping the violations and in a very short time, the traffic will flow better because the violators will get the message. Susan Curtis, AZ
