As you probably know, Las Vegas has several large nightclubs. While talking to the owners of one of these nightlife cash cows, they asked me a question I thought it would make an excellent Reader Poll question for this week. This week’s Reader Poll question is, do you think it would be a good idea to have a 40 and over age nightclub. Is this something you would attend or does it have any interest to you if everyone in the nightclub is 40 years old and above? Why or why not?  What is your opinion? We want to hear from you! (See other readers opinions below.)

Reader Poll Replies:

The thought of an old person nightclub does not sound inviting to me, and Im 54.  Nothing worse than a bunch of old cougars crusing the nightclub.  David Sawyer. NY

Makes no difference to me, I outgrew the casino nightclub scene years ago when they priced themselves out of my reach.  This hundreds of dollars per person just to sit at a table is ridiculous. Ron T.  Texas

Yes please. There are lots of babyboomers who would love this. Dance music from 70s and 80s and an earlier start time. How about this idea? 40 and over from 8 to midnight, all ages after midnight.  John Pinnix  Reynoldsburg, Ohio

Great idea for us older active folks. Night clubs per say intimidate older people. Also can provide employment for over 40 people who need income or something to do that is productive for social benefits.  Greg  Las Vegas,NV

The next question would be What about a grab a granny night!  I think the head banging music is a bit much for the majority of the over 40s.Leave it to the young uns .Looking forward to my holiday in two weeks time in las vegas .Iam sure there is much more to see and do than noisy nightclubs.  Ronald Blades  Goole  UK

Yes, wouuld love a over 40's night club with 70 & 80's music  Kernan Longua  Idaho Falls / Idaho

why not we like to see shows too,its nice to be able to go to a place where we can relax & enjoy good music or dance & not be run over or stepped on by the younger crowd. its a good idea. go for it.   E.B. Swanson  Colona,Il
