* I think it might be a good thing to have a place where
all the 20 something people are not around. Not sure, but sounds
like someplace I would try to attend a few times to try it out.

* Even though I am in the 40+
bracket, I really like looking at those amazing 21 year old ladies.
So I guess I would not like it. Tim Zimmerman
* I am positive myself and
my girl friends would be there in a heart beat. We are so tired of
going to places and kids that our half our age are making complete
idiots of themselves with mommy and daddy's credit cards.

* This is getting out of
control. What's next putting some slots and a light show in rest
homes and then yell "lets boogy" there are enough clubs in Vegas.
Granted they are geared for the young crowd who really come to Vegas to
party. older people come to have a good time, party in their own way, go
to shows and gamble. putting clubs in for the 30 or 40 year olds will
take something away from the show attendance. the more clubs for them
the less will be at shows. and shows are a huge element of business in
Vegas. so let it be and let the 20 some things enjoy the club scene and
the rest of us enjoy Vegas and all that it offers. Ralph
* Las Vegas should have
lounges with music and dancing to appeal to the over 40 crowd. Fontana
Lounge is an example of a great lounge with great music and chairs
(which is something the new clubs for the young lack). A 40+ lounge is a
fantastic idea and is needed. We've been thinking this for a long
while now. rijeda718
* I would love to see Las
Vegas have a nightclub for 35-year-old and above, or even better yet,
40-year-old and above. While in Vegas my husband and I totally avoid the
nightclub scene only because the crowds are the 20 to 30 year olds. We
would definitely enjoy a nightclub where the music and atmosphere were
aimed at people more in our own age group. Shelley D. Michigan
* I think very much that they need
a specific nightclub for the 35 and older group. there are a lot of
people who don't like the younger generation and the way the act or
express themselves. some older people get offended buy the displays of
today's youth. also the age group might fell that they are to old for
the nightlife and by having a club for them this would make them feel
more comfortable in the setting. Holly P.
* I think a 40's + club would be
great, if the staff is all 30 and under! Howard Kendall
* Not being one to have to
hit the clubs for entertainment, I found myself in Coyote Ugly one night
helping my son celebrate his 21st birthday. Culture Shock. Spend the
evening standing in a line to get a chance to pay a cover charge to get
into a club where you have to stand in line some more to get a drink,
then stand some more hoping to see some entertainment. You're only as
old as you feel. I feel like I want, no deserve, a cocktail table and a
waitress. I want to be able to have a conversation during lulls in the
entertainment. I want entertainment that doesn't require hearing
protection. I felt like the under-30's really didn't need us old-school
partiers trying to show them we could still have a good time. So, yeah.
"Boomer" clubs have a real place in this town. Where are they?

* Yes to 40 and above. That
way all of us old dried up and (in my case fat) women and men will look
a little better. No, really our taste in music is different than
the younger folks. Marquita Priester Columbus, GA
* Yes, I think it would be
great to have a nightclub just for the 35 and older group. It would be a
place where that age group could meet others and not have to worry about
the younger crowd doing immature things. Stephanie Johnston
* I think this is a great
idea!! since I am in my forties I have realized that anyone in their
20's and even 30's considers a person 40+ to be a senior citizen and is
treated accordingly which includes everything from a patronizing
attitude to being made fun of. I enjoy going to nightclubs but
would never go to a club with younger people. It is more fun and much
more comfortable to be around people my own age. They are friendlier and
it is easier to get to know people. I think with the large population of
baby boomers we have in this country that this would be a real popular
club! hope someone follows through with the idea. a

I believe there should be a night club
or casino which caters to the 35+ crowd. The most thing I hate is seeing
young couples strolling their infants around a casino or night club. I
do not believe children should be around liquor or gambling. In
addition, the younger crowd has a tendency of not handling their liquor
well and are always ready for a fight. The music is also not from the
same timeframe. The older crowd are usually financially better secured
and therefore would spend more money at a club they enjoy the music. I
visit Las Vegas and other casino's frequently and hardly do I ever go to
a nightclub because of the wild music and craziness that goes on. I am
52 with a 35 year old face. At least that is what everyone tells me. I
have friends from 18 to 60 years of age and I am use to the different
age groups, however when I want to spend money, I want to spend it with
the music I like and in an atmosphere I enjoy. Myrna
